              DUAL SOURCING OF CD-ROM DRIVES ON ADVANTAGE! SYSTEMS


PROBLEM:        AST is currently dual sourcing Sony and Mitsumi CD-ROM drives
                on all Advantage! configurations.

CAUSE:          CD-ROM drive availability.

SOLUTION:       If your Advantage! system uses a Sony CD-ROM drive, and it
                does not function properly, replace it with a Sony drive.  To
                identify the type of drive your system uses, observe the CD-
                ROM tray in front of the system; it has "Compact Disc" molded
                in the middle.

                If your Advantage! system uses a Mitsumi CD-ROM drive, and it
                does not function properly, replace it with a Mitsumi drive.
                To identify the type of drive your system uses, observe the
                CD-ROM tray in front of the system; it has "Double Speed"
                molded in the middle and "Compact Disc" molded on the right.
