TECHNICAL BULLETIN # 1001 10-24-94 = BRAVO LP LOCKS UP WITH INTEL TOKEN EXPRESS CARD PROBLEM: When using the Token Express card, the Bravo LP system periodically hangs while loading NEXT.EXE and logging into the server. The system also hangs if the Token Express drivers, version 1.1, are loaded while running Setup. CAUSE: The Token Express card, part number 308314-002, has a timing problem causing missing interrupts. SYSTEMS AFFECTED: AST PART NUMBER DESCRIPTION 501175-XXX BRAVO LP 4-33 SOLUTION: 1. Replace the Intel Token Express card, part number 308314-002, with Intel part number 308314-003. This new card includes Tokenset software, verison 1.3.
