TECHNICAL BULLETIN # 1012 10-28-94 = RACAL INTERLAN EISA NETWORK CARD CAUSES SYSTEM HANGS PROBLEM: The Racal Interlan ES3210 causes system hangs with no error messages (silent hang) when transferring large files across a windows NT network. CAUSE: Faulty driver for the ES3210 network card is unable to process large data files. SYSTEMS AFFECTED: All systems SOLUTION: This new driver has been tested by Racal and it fixes the problem under Windows NT 3.1. Download file RACALNT.EXE, located on AST's BBS, in the Systems file area. AST's BBS can be accessed by dialing the following telephone number: (817) 230-6850. AST's BBS supports modem speeds up to 28.8k bps. To obtain further driver updates call Racal Interlan's BBS at (508) 264-4345.
