          ADVANTAGE! PLUS AND BRAVO MS USING CHINON FR506 5.25" DRIVE


PROBLEM:        The Advantage! Plus and Bravo MS systems experience a boot
                error when using a Chinon FR506, 1.2M floppy drive.

CAUSE:          A 150 Ohm pullup on some signal lines causes a boot error on
                the Advantage! Plus system.

SYSTEMS
AFFECTED:       Chinon floppy drives and AT-class systems.


SOLUTION:       Older 5.25" drives using 150 Ohm pullups do not function
                correctly in AT-class computers.  AST recommends using an
                alternate drive.
