                     AST WORKS "CARDS" SOFTWARE AND PRINT QUALITY


        This is an informational bulletin.

        If a Bitmap or PhotoCD image is inserted on the 'front' portion of the
        card, it will print in low resolution.  If the same or different image
        is placed on the 'inside' of the card, it prints at a much higher
        resolution.

        The "CARDS" software does not support Bitmap or PhotoCD images on the
        front of the card.  AST recommends using Bitmap or PhotoCD images on
        the inside of the card for best results.

AFFECTED:  All AST systems that use AST Works software.
