                    PREMMIA LX ERROR WITH CORNERSTONE VIDEO CARD


PROBLEM:        The Cornerstone Image Accel PC1608C/12 color 20/70 video card
                is not recognized by the Premmia LX system when running OS/2
                version 2.11.

CAUSE:          The Premmia LX ROM BIOS is setup with the field Disable Shadow
                Memory Size "Disabled".  This setting conflicts with the
                Cornerstone Image Accel PC1608C/12 color 20/70 video cards' ROM
                BIOS address.

SOLUTION:       The Cornerstone Image Accel PC1608C/12 color 20/70 video card
                had the default settings:

                Base I/O 3B0-3B1
                ROM address DE000-DFFFF

                To "Disable" the appropriate amount of memory to shadow ROM do
                the following:

                1. During the memory count, press the <F1> key to run Setup.

                2. From the main Menu Settings menu go to Advanced CMOS Setup.

                3. Change the option Disable Shadow Memory Size to "16KB".

                4. Change the option Disable Shadow Memory Base to "DC000h".

                5. Press the <Esc> key to go back to the main menu screen.

                6. Select the Write to CMOS option and exit.
