				 BRAVO MS AND CABLETRON NETWORK CARD


PROBLEM
When using a Cabletron network card E2219, the Bravo MS system will not 
connect to a file server. 

CAUSE
None.  This is a configuration issue.

SOLUTION
The Cabletron network card defaults to DMA 3/IRQ 11 in the ISA Configuration 
Utility program.  If the card is not set to match the settings in the 
ICU program, the card will not function.  If the Quickset program is run and 
the settings are switched from the default of DMA 5/IRQ 5 to match the ICU 
settings of DMA 3/IRQ 11, the network interface card (NIC) works correctly.
