	    PROTEON 1392 TOKEN RING CARD FAILS ON POWER STATION II


PROBLEM
Unable to log-in on a Token Ring network, using a PROTEON 1392 PLUS card 
installed on a POWERSTATION II, with an ASCENTIA 900N 4/50D CS.  The system 
will hang without any message.  Using the following connection procedure:  
LSL, OSH39XR (Proteon ODI Driver), IPXODI and VLM are loaded successfully, 
but the system hangs when entering LOGIN "User name". 

CAUSE
The Proteon ODI driver is incompatible with this configuration.

SOLUTION
Obtain the current ODI driver from the Proteon BBS by calling 1-508-366-7827 
and downloading the file 39WS-ODI.EXE.
