			  PREMIUM CUPID TE BIOS UPGRADE AND LED PROBLEM


PROBLEM:

When upgrading the Premium Cupid TE system from BIOS version 1.14 to 2.0, the 
"RUN" LED that is located on the control panel does not light.

CAUSE:

The revision 2.0 BIOS was not written to be used in the older Cupid TE system 
(P/N 500766-XXX) that utilizes the 202377-001 MLB (Main Logic Board) but was 
intended for use in the then new "Tower II" (Premium SE 500887-XXX and 
500888-XXX) which was built around the 202377-002 MLB.  As the version 2.0 
BIOS was intended for use in the Tower II (which did not have a "RUN" light) 
the code supporting the "RUN" light was eliminated to allow room for other 
needed features.

SOLUTION:

Either continue using version 2.0 BIOS (Kit P/N 500775-005)

	LO BYTE P/N 237816-005
	HI BYTE P/N 237817-005

in the older machines which will result in a non-functional "RUN" LED, or use 
the correct version 1.14 BIOS (Kit P/N 510157-003)

	LO BYTE P/N 237816-004
	HI BYTE P/N 237817-004).

with a functional "RUN" LED.
