				  BRAVO MS P/60 AND CABLETRON FAILURE


PROBLEM

The Cabletron E2219 network card may fail at DMA 3 on the Bravo MS P/60 
system.

CAUSE

The Cabletron card is susceptible to bus noise thereby performing erratically.

SOLUTION

A network adapter card that is not so sensitive is available from Cabletron.  
This card can be obtained by calling Cabletron's Technical Support at 
(603) 332-9400, select option 6, and request P/N 9000939.
