			    ASCENTIA 910N SLOW TO DISPLAY AT BOOT


This is an informational bulletin.

During the boot process, the Ascentia 910N system takes up to 13 seconds to 
display the first line.

To maintain compatibility with 16MB memory modules, it is necessary to perform 
a memory sizing algorithm much earlier in the boot-up process.  Additionally, 
the Ascentia 910N uses a different type of BIOS chip which is twice as large, 
and it takes longer to load (compared to the Ascentia 900N).
