					    AVI COLOR CORRUPTION


PROBLEM

Running the AVI file on AST systems may cause surrounding background color 
changes.

CAUSE

Windows environment is causing a color conflict.

SYSTEMS AFFECTED
AST PART NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION

All systems using Cirrus Logic 5430/5434 VGA chip.

SOLUTION

Set the system to another color depth such as 16M, 64k, or 16 in Windows by 
pressing the WINMODE icon.
