BRAVO MS SMC8432 AND PCI SYSTEMS

PROBLEM

When using SMC PCI Ethernet card and loading LSL and SMCPWR on the Bravo MS 
system, the system returns the following beep and error message:

"Could not handle Intel chip set bug workaround successfully"


CAUSE

Version 0.30 of the file SMCPWR.COM, dated 7/13/94 causes the above mentioned 
error message.

SOLUTION

Download file XDO201.EXE from the SMC BBS.  This file contains the updated 
Novell DOS ODI Workstation drivers for the SMC 8432 PCI Adapter.

File XDO201.EXE, SMC EtherPower 10/100 DOS ODI driver v. 2.01 can be found on 
SMC's BBS (714) 707-2481 in the following area:
