			  SLOW LOADING .NLM FILES UNDER NETWARE 3.11


PROBLEM

Under NetWare 3.11, the Manhattan P 5090 system may be excessively slow at 
loading .NLM modules from a DOS partition, after NCRSDMS3 is loaded.


CAUSE

The NCR driver does not support NetWare 3.11 in Manhattan systems.

All Manhattan P and V systems.


SOLUTION

Edit the CONFIG.SYS file and add the statement

DEVICE=

Add NCR's DOSCAM.SYS to the CONFIG.SYS file.  DOSCAM.SYS improves the .NLM 
moudule's loading time from the DOS partition.  The DOSCAM.SYS file is on the 
NCR PCI SCSI Device Drivers diskette. 

This is ONLY a suggestion and ONLY under NetWare 3.11 with Manhattan 
P and V systems.
