TECHNICAL BULLETIN # 1194 5-25-95 = BRAVO NB-RC 4/33 MONO9 SERIAL MOUSE DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY PROBLEM The Bravo NB-RC 4/33 MONO9 system serial mouse (Microsoft Serial-P2 compatible mouse) may not function properly. The cursor may not move when the mouse is moved, or it moves too slowly. Sometimes the mouse may not release or open applications in Windows. CAUSE The system is using a BIOS prior to release 1.03. SYSTEMS AFFECTED AST PART NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION 501595-XXX BRAVO NB-RC 4/33 MONO9 SOLUTION Upgrade the system with BIOS release 1.03 or higher. Request AST part number 905563-031 from the following: Contact the nearest AST Authorized Service Center. Call AST Spare Parts at (800) 727-1278. Download file 05563031.EXE from AST's BBS.
