ADVANTAGE! P60 OS/2 WARP AND LOGITECH MOUSE


PROBLEM

During installation of OS/2 Warp v3.0, the Logitech mouse (M-S28) is not 
detected.


CAUSE

The mouse driver that ships with OS/2 Warp v3.0 is not compatible with 
Logitech's mouse M-S28.

SOLUTION

Download file <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/MISC/MOUSEWRP.EXE">MOUSEWRP.EXE</A> from AST's BBS (817) 230-6850, in the "Systems" 
file area.  AST's BBS supports modem speeds up to 28.8k bps.

After installation of OS/2 Warp v3.0, insert the diskette containing file 
MOUSEWRP.EXE into drive A.

Open an OS/2 window.  Type

A: 

and press <Return>.  Type

Install

This will replace the existing mouse driver with the Logitech mouse driver 
(part number 601036-0100 Rev. A).  Reboot the system.
