POWEREXEC AND DIAMOND STEALTH/STB 64 BIT VIDEO ADAPTERS


PROBLEM

The Diamond Stealth 64 Bit ISA graphics accelerator and the STB Systems 
Nitro 64 Bit ISA 2MB video adapters do not function when installed in the 
PowerStation I with the PowerExec connected.  No video appears on the 
external VGA monitor connected to the video adapter card.  Simultaneous 
video or external video does not work.


CAUSE

The PowerExec is not compatible with the Diamond Stealth and STB 64 Bit 
VGA adapters.  These types of adapters were designed after the PowerExec 
was released.

SOLUTION

There is no solution available to have the PowerExec work with these 64 Bit 
VGA adapters.  A possible work around is to use a 32 or 16 Bit VGA adapter.
