MANHATTAN SMP SHUTDOWN AND RESTART PROBLEMS WITH WINDOWS NT V3.5


PROBLEM

The Manhattan SMP system will intermittently hang during or after a shutdown 
from Windows NT v3.5 in one of the following two ways:

1.)  The system will hang during shutdown.
2.)  The system will hang during boot, while loading the NT kernel.

SOLUTION

Upgrade Windows NT v3.5 to Windows NT v3.51.

NOTE: Service Paks 1 and 2 for Windows NT v3.5 do not resolve this problem. 
You must upgrade to Windows NT v3.51.
