ASCENTIA 950N WRONG SUSPEND PARTITION SIZE IN MANUAL


PROBLEM

Page 40 of the Ascentia 950N User's Manual (p/n 003257-001) states; 

	 "AST maximizes the suspend partition of all Ascentia hard-disk drives 
	 to 34MB, so you do not need to increase the suspend partition on these 
	 disks."

The Ascentia 950N system has a maximum RAM value of 40MB, which means that a 
partition of 42MB is warranted.

CAUSE

The Ascentia 950N User's Manual (p/n 003257-001) has a misprint concerning 
the suspend partition.

SOLUTION

The User's Manual defines the wrong partition size.  There is nothing wrong 
with the operation of the Ascentia 950N or the hard-disk drive.  All the hard 
disk drives that ship with the Ascentia 950N systems have the correct 
SmartSleep partition size of 42MB as defined.
