ADVANTAGE! MS WORKS PROBLEM


PROBLEM

When running MS Works in the Advantage! 6066D or 8075P, using HELP causes the 
following message to appear:

"Cannot find the viewer file"

even though the MS Works CD is in the drive.


CAUSE

In the [Files] section, the following line is missing from file 
WINDOWS\VIEWER.INI:

	   MSWORKS.MVB=D:\help\, Cannot locate Files. Please insert the 
	   Microsoft Works CD Rom, or run Setup.

SOLUTION

Using a text editor such as Notepad, in the Windows Accessories group, add 
the following lines to the VIEWER.INI file in the WINDOWS\VIEWER directory:

[Files]
MSWORKS.MVB=D:\help\, Cannot locate Files. Please insert the  Microsoft Works 
CD Rom, or run Setup.
