	    ASCENTIA 950N NOT POWERING UP WHEN DOCKED TO EASYPORT


PROBLEM:        The Ascentia 950N will not power-up when docked to an 
		EasyPort.  This problem occurs on with the following:

		DESCRIPTION     PART NUMBER     REVISION

		EasyPort        501682-001      
		PCBA            202701-001      6 or below

CAUSE:          This problem is due to a timing problem of a detection 
		circuit in the EasyPort that renders the EasyPort 
		incompatible with the Ascentia 950N.

SOLUTION:       The solution is for the customer to return the unit and have 
		the EasyPort upgraded to a revision level of 7 or higher.
