		 ASCENTIA 950N AND OS/2 WARP INSTALLER


PROBLEM:        The OS/2 Installer hangs the system when trying to install 
		OS/2 Warp.  This occurs on systems with the following system 
		boards:

		PART NUMBER     REVISION
	
		202677-XXX         A

CAUSE:          This problem is due to the system bus not being pulled up 
		strongly enough thereby  producing false detection of a 
		second IDE drive causing the installer to wait continuously 
		for the second IDE drive to become ready.

SOLUTION:       To resolve this problem the customer should return the unit 
		to have the system board upgraded to a revision B or higher, 
		and also to have the BIOS upgraded to version 2.57.
