		  Bravo MS P/100 Exception Error in Windows 95


PROBLEM

After approximately 15 minutes in Windows 95, the Bravo MS P/100 system 
returns various exception errors.  After rebooting, the system may experience 
additional exception errors.


CAUSE

Firmware issue with ROM version KA41216 on the Toshiba 4X CD-ROM drive, model 
number 5302B (AST part numbers 234167-310 and -410). 


SOLUTION

Call AST's Technical Support at (800) 727-1278 and request a Return 
Authorization Number (RAN) to replace the Toshiba CD-ROM which has 
been disqualified.  Request the alternate manufacturer part 
(p/n 234167-310 and -410).
