       MICROSOFT ENCARTA AND ADVANTAGE ADVENTURE 4MB CONFIGURATIONS

In order for Microsoft Encarta to run smoothly on 4MB systems, the 
following two items need adjustment.

   1. Create a permanent swap file of 8 MB.
   2. Make Program Manager the active shell.

To change the above options, refer to the DOS/Windows user manual that 
shipped with the computer, or click on the HELP option in the AST Works 
Desktop under Windows 3.1
