       MATROX 2064W VIDEO CARD INCORRECTLY IDENTIFIED BY WINDOWS 95


PROBLEM:     During the device configuration process, Windows 95 identifies 
             the Matrox 2064W video card as an "Oak Technology VGA" adapter. 

CAUSE:       There is no built in support in the initial release of Windows 
             95 for the Matrox 2064W card.

SOLUTION:    The user must change the display driver manually, using the 
             Matrox drivers supplied with the system.  The change is performed 
             in Windows 95 by opening Control Panel and changing the settings 
             in Display. 

            The drivers are contained on the Windows 95 CD ROM in the "drivers" 
            folder.  On systems without a hard drive the drivers are in the 
            Matrox drivers diskette number seven of 13 (p.n. 911692-311)
