                   LOGITECH MOUSE LOCKS UP AFTER SUSPEND

PROBLEM:     When the Ascentia 950 (or any other notebook that 
             incorporates Advanced Power Management) resumes from a 
             suspended state, the mouse freezes.  The computer and 
             keyboard are operational; only the mouse is affected.

CAUSE:       Logitech's mouse drivers, versions 6.43 and earlier, will 
             exhibit this symptom on any machine using Advanced Power 
             Management.  When the computer enters and resumes from a 
             suspended state, the driver does not wake up the mouse.

SYSTEMS AFFECTED:
             All AST Portable Systems that incorporate Advanced Power 
             Management.

SOLUTION:    Install the latest Logitech mouse drivers (version 6.5 or 
             above).  Updated drivers may be obtained by contacting 
             Logitech Technical Support at (510)795-8100.
