    QEMM STEALTH FEATURE DOES NOT WORK ON THE ASCENTIA 800N NOTEBOOK

PROBLEM:      When booting using the stealth feature of Quarterdeck's 
              QEMM program, the system will generate a  Bad or missing 
              Command Interpreter message, and the notebook will no 
              longer boot.

CAUSE:        A conflict exists between QEMM386.SYS and the system BIOS 
              at the range between FC00-FFFF.  The conflict will 
              overwrite a portion of the BIOS.

              Ascentia 800N Notebook

SOLUTION:     To prevent QEMM from using this memory range, exclude the 
              upper memory region between FC00-FFFF.  In the CONFIG.SYS, 
              the QEMM386.SYS line should contain an X=FC00-FFFF 
              parameter.
