                  OS/2 WARP CONNECT AND PNP OS SUPPORT

PROBLEM
OS/2 Warp Connect Version 3.0 may not recognize the integrated sound
chip on systems that have the option to enable/disable Plug-n-Play (PnP)
OS support in System Setup.


CAUSE
OS/2 Warp Connect Version 3.0 is not PnP compatible.


SOLUTION
Disable PnP OS in System Setup. This option can be found under Floppy
and Boot in System Setup.


SYSTEMS AFFECTED
All systems that have the option to enable/disable PnP OS support in
System Setup.
