        Premmia GX/S Upgrading Windows NT to Support Dual Processors


PROBLEM

After installing a second processor, Windows NT 3.51 does not recognize 
dual processor mode.


SOLUTION

Two solutions are available.  One is doing an Upgrade Re-install.  The other 
is to expand the required files as follows:

NTKRNLMP.EXE:
copy from Disk 1 to >c:\windows\system32\NTOSKRNL.EXE

WINSRV.DL_: 
expand from Disk 4 to --> c:\windows\system32\WINSRV.DLL 

KERNEL32.DL_:
expand from Disk 4 to --> c:\windows\system32\KERNEL32.DLL 

NTDLL.DL_:
expand from Disk 6 to --> c:\windows\system32\NTDLL.DLL

HALMPS.DL_:
expand from Disk 9 to --> c:\windows\system32\HAL.DLL

The original files should be saved before this process, in case the system 
needs to be returned to uni-processor configuration.

NOTE:  For the international languages, the actual Disk number may vary.
