    Bravo MS Pentium Unable to remove "Unknown Cards" from ISACU Device List 
			and Failed NVS Write Error


PROBLEM

1. While booting the Bravo MS Pentium system, the ISA Configuration 
   Utility (ICU) adds "Unknown Cards" into the device list; these cards are 
   unable to be removed.

2. With PnP adapters installed, the Bravo MS Pentium system may report the 
   following error at boot:

		      "Failed NVS Write Error = 1h"


CAUSE

Bravo system BIOS version 1.04 (p/n 905558-039 or below) is not compatible 
with ICU version 1.02 (p/n 911370-035 and 911370-036).


SOLUTION

Download the Clearnvs Utility Diskette (p/n 912493-031 version 1.00) and run 
the CLEARNVS.EXE file to clear the non-volatile RAM.  File <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/D-OTHER/12493031.EXE">12493031.EXE</A> can be

IMPORTAN NOTE

Bravo MS BIOS version 1.05 (p/n 905558-310) or higher and ICU v1.03 
(p/n 911370038 and 911370-038) or higher MUST BE installed prior to 
running the Clearnvs Utility Diskette, version 1.00.
