	   Micropolis 2210 Hard Drive and the Manhattan P/V Systems


PROBLEM

During the copy process, when files are overwritten or deleted under DOS, 
the Micropolis 2210 hard drive generates the following error:

		   "General failure writing drive C"


CAUSE

This particular model, Micropolis 2210, does not support NCR BIOS versions 
later than v3.04.


SOLUTION

Load DOSCAM.SYS driver in the CONFIG.SYS file or use an AST-approved hard 
drive. 


SYSTEMS AFFECTED

All systems us ing an NCR chip set or controller with NCR BIOS versions 
later than NCR BIOS v3.04.


COMPONENTS AFFECTED

Third-party hard drive, model 2210, supplied by Micropolis.
