		      Correction To Premmia LX User Manual


This is an informational bulletin.

Pages 5 through 7 of the AST Premmia LX User's Manual 
(P/N 001979-001A, October 1993) state the following: 

     "The system contains tin-plated SIMM sockets.  Only install SIMMs with 
       tin-plated leads in the system".


The above is an incorrect statement.  Both tin-plated and gold-plated SIMMs 
can be used in the Premmia LX.  Mixing combinations of the two types is 
acceptable as long as they are installed in pairs.

Future revisions of this manual will correct the error.  For the approved 
SIMM Vendor List, see Technical Bulletin # 0899.
