	 Premmia GX P/100 Under Windows for Workgroup 3.11 with PCNet 
			    Experiencing Lock-ups


PROBLEM

Premmia GX P/100 may lock-up after a warm boot, when using AMD PCNet 
2.0 Ethernet drivers.


CAUSE

AMD's Autoscan utility can only use four pre-set I/O settings.  None of these 
settings are supported by the Premmia GX P/100 system board.


SOLUTION

Upgrade the AMD PCNet drivers to revision 2.52 or greater (AST part 
numbers 911265-315, -316, and -317).  The PCNet drivers are available on 
AST's BBS (817) 230-6850.  AST's BBS supports modem speeds up to 28.8k
