	Manhattan P and V Percepta Remote-Remote Client Installation
	

PROBLEM

Unable to install a remote client on a Manhattan P and V system, directly 
from the installation program.


CAUSE

The COEXIST.DLL may be missing.  The Setup program may not properly install 
or link all needed files for an out-of-band client.


SOLUTION

1. Copy the COEXIST.DLL file (provided with the Percepta Remote software) 
into C:\SMM as the User's Manual suggests.

2. Add the following option in the command line, under the Percepta Remote 
Program Item, in Windows:

c:\smm\servmon.exe network=no manager=yes

The option tells SERMON.EXE that this is an out-of-band client without a 
network.
