                Ascentia 950N Under OS/2 Playing Midi File


PROBLEM

With OS/2 Warp installed on an Ascentia 950N, using BIOS version 2.57, 
the system may hang while playing a Midi sound bite on battery power.


CAUSE

Certain Power Management functions contained in the 2.57 BIOS are 
interfering with playing Midi sound bite.


SOLUTION

Update the Ascentia 950N BIOS to version 2.58 (p/n 905557-039).
