                   Ascentia 950N, Windows 95, and Xircom PE3


PROBLEM

After installing a Xircom PE3 Pocket Ethernet Adapter on an Ascentia 950N, 
running Windows 95, the following error message may appear:

"Your Xircom PE3 is not working correctly".


CAUSE

The 32 bit driver from Xircom is incompatible with Windows 95.


SOLUTION

Until Xircom releases a new 32 bit driver, select the Xircom 16 bit NDIS 
driver in Windows 95.  
For a permanent solution, look for the 32 bit driver on Xircom's BBS 
(805) 376-9130.
