               PCI Error with Adaptec AHA2940UW SCSI Controller


PROBLEM

PCI error=83090020 and PCI error=890B0000" may occur during boot.


CAUSE

The Adaptec 2940UW firmware conflicts with the Phoenix BIOS.


SOLUTION

File 2940UW.EXE fixes the PCI error during system boot.  
This firmware is available by calling Adaptec Technical Support at 
(800) 959-7274 or (408) 934-7274.  
This firmware is also available for download from Adaptec's BBS 
(408) 945-7727.
