                    Advantage! Adventure 60XX and CD-ROM Drive


PROBLEM

Problem 1:
After minimizing the CD player and then re-opening it, the CD-ROM drive 
may no longer be detected.

Problem 2:
After minimizing the CD player and then re-opening it, control of the CD 
player is lost.

Problem 3:
OS/2 Warp Connect cannot detect the CD-ROM drive during install.


CAUSE

The Sanyo CD-ROM drive, revision B, causes seek errors.


SOLUTION

Replace the CD-ROM drive (p/n 234167-410) revision B with revision C.  
To do this, call AST's Technical Support (800) 727-1278 and request a 
Return Authorization Number (RAN).
