		Ascentia 950N and ProStation III Switch Not Working


PROBLEM

When the Ascentia 950N system is docked on the ProStation III, the 
ProStation III ON/OFF switch may not work.


CAUSE

System BIOS 2.57 or lower may cause the above problem.


SOLUTION

Update the Ascentia 950N system with the latest system BIOS, version 2.59 
(AST p/n 905557-310).  File <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/P-BIOS/05557310.EXE">05557310.EXE</A> can be found on AST's BBS 
(817) 230-6850.  AST's BBS supports modem speeds up to 28.8k bps.
