    Installing Windows NT 3.51 with Quad Speed CD-ROM on Manhattan Server


PROBLEM 

When installing Windows NT 3.51 from CD-ROM, with the Sanyo CRD254S CD-ROM, 
on the integrated NCR SCSI controller, bad or corrupt files may occur during 
the file copy process.


CAUSE

The NCR driver version that ships with Windows NT 3.51 does not work properly 
with the CD-ROM.


SOLUTION

Download the latest driver (version 2.00.00) from SymBios Logic's BBS at 
(719) 573-3562, file name NT35_DRV.ZIP, or you may obtain the driver from 
SymBios Logic's ftp sight at:

	 ftp.symbios.com/pub/ncrchips/scsi/drivers/Win_NT35/nt35_drv.zip
