      Bravo MS Pentium Problem Reading Toshiba CD-ROM on Secondary 
		    Controller under OS/2 Warp Connect


PROBLEM

1. Under OS/2 Warp Connect, the Bravo MS Pentium may not recognize the 
   CD-ROM drive returning a "Shadow Initialization" error, or the drive may 
   work erratically.

2. The Bravo MS Pentium may not recognize the CD-ROM under Windows NT.


CAUSE

On the secondary IDE controller, the "First Hard Drive" type defaults to 
"None".


SOLUTION

When a Toshiba 5302 CD-ROM drive is connected to the secondary IDE 
controller, the "First Hard Drive" type must be set to "Auto" in the system 
Setup menu.  

The BIOS design also requires that the Toshiba CD-ROM be jumpered as "master".
