	    Advantage! 6xx/8xx Printing FAXes from MultiMedia Connect


PROBLEM

After receiving a FAX using MultiMedia Connect, attempting to print the 
FAX may result in paper being fed through the printer without printing.  
This happens with the Windows 95 printer drivers for several ink jet printers.


CAUSE

Windows 95 uses a print spooler that is different from Windows 3.1.  
This difference is not recognized by the following versions of MultiMedia 
Connect: 1.8.040, 1.8.042, 1.8.053, and 1.8.072.


SOLUTION

Changing the way the printer spools the data sent to the printer to RAW will 
alleviate this issue.  Follow the steps below to make the necessary changes.

	 1. Right click on START.
	 2. Go to SETTINGS then over to PRINTERS.
	 3. Left click on PRINTERS.
	 4. Right click on the icon for the printer you are using.
	 5. Right click on PROPERTIES.
	 6. Select the DETAILS tab.
	 7. Right click on SPOOL SETTINGS.
	 8. Right click on the DOWN ARROW on the SPOOL DATA FORMAT line.
	 9. Right click on RAW and choose OK on both screens to close and 
	    save changes.
