		    Ascentia J and Windows 3.11 Logo Flashing


PROBLEM

For Windows 3.11, when choosing a standard VGA driver, the Windows Logo 
screen will flash during Windows startup in the Ascentia J system.  
Some VGA operations could be abnormal with standard VGA drivers.


CAUSE

With the advanced built-in VGA chip, the dedicated C&T VGA drivers are 
supported for Windows 3.11, Win95, and other operating systems.  Standard 
VGA drivers are not required to be compatible with the latest hardware 
chipset.


SOLUTION

Please install the VGA drivers that AST bundles with pre-installed hard disk 
drives.
