TITLE:  PowerStation Compatibility Portables
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   This is an informational bulletin.
   
   The following table provides compatibility information for AST 
   portable computers and the PowerStation products. Please note the 
   following:  
   
   "Supported" means "Recommended configurations."  All documented 
   features will operated correctly. 
   
   "Not Supported" means "Configurations not recommended."  The unit 
   may appear to be working, however, one or more of the documented 
   features will not operate correctly.

   Notes:
   
   1.  PowerExec docked w/PowerStation I :
       - With no ISA card in PS1, error message appears: 
       "Power Station version 1.02.01 could not detect IDE 
       IRQ."
       - With  ISA card plugged-in, no error message is 
       seen, but system taken much longer time during normal 
       boot up.
   
   2.  PowerExec docked w/PowerStation Pro System booted up 
       fine.
   
   3.  Ascentia 950N docked w/ Power Station I, II, III:
       No power on when system is docked.  Need to press 
       power switch on the Ascentia unit to turn system ON.
   
   
   This issue applies to all AST portable computer systems.
