This issue affects the following systems: 501772, 501773, 501774, 501775, 501776, 501777, 501778, 501784, 501814, 501815, 501816, 501860, 501861, 501916, 501926, and 501950. See Software Bulletin # 0326. This issue also affects the following systems: 501749 and 501841. See Software Bulletin # 0327. ISSUE 1. The user may experience a 0.5 second delay in video synchronization when switching between the GUI (Graphical User Interface) and a DOS window under OS/2. 2. The monitor may experience excessive switching of video modes during boot up of Windows 95. BACKGROUND The ATI video BIOS 1.055, which is part of the system BIOS, has an excessive amount of delay when switching between video modes. ACTION Update the system BIOS to version 1.07 (AST part number 905591-032) or later.
