TITLE:  Bravo MS-T and 1540CF Adapters
 
 
SUMMARY 
 
   The floppy drive may fail when multiple Adaptec 1540CF adapters are
   installed in the Bravo MS-T system.
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 503067 
   and 503068.    


ISSUE 
 
   The Bravo MS-T 6180 and 6200 systems generate an 
   
      "Error reading drive A" 
   
   message when multiple Adaptec 1540CF SCSI adapters are present
   in the system.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   According to Adaptec, noise generated on the "DACK2" signal line 
   on the 1540CF adapter causes this issue.    

 
ACTION 
 
   The user must remove one of the 1540 CF adapters, or use a 
   different model from Adaptec, such as the 1542CP or 1530P SCSI 
   adapters.
