TITLE:  Bravo MS-T Win95 Multimedia Conflict
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   If a customer replaces the Bravo MS-T system board, AST part 
   number 234459-002 (which contains  hard disk image part number 
   4901106-015B) with a system board part number 234459-003, Windows 
   95 will detect the hardware change and it will reconfigure 
   itself. However, there will be a hardware conflict with the 
   Sound, Video, and Game Controller.
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 501951, 501952, 501954, 
   501955, 501956, 501973, and 503043.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   This issue occurs because the system board (-003) has a 
   Plug-and-Play Audio Device and the old system board (-002) has a 
   non-Plug-and-Play Audio Device.    

 
ACTION 
 
   To correct the above error, remove the Sound, Video, and Game 
   Controller from the Device Manager and then re-install it. This 
   action will resolve the issue.
   
   Follow the steps below using Windows 95:
   
   1.  Click on the <Start> button.
   2.  Click on Settings and then Control Panel.
   3.  Double-click on the System icon.
   4.  Click on the Device Manager tab.
   5.  Double-click on Sound, Video & game Controller.
   6.  Click on Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16
       Plug-and-Play.
   7.  Click on Remove and then on OK.
   8.  Click on Gameport joystick.
   9.  Click on Remove and then on OK.
   10. Click on Gameport joystick (with the yellow
       exclamation mark).
   11. Click on Remove and then on OK.
   12. Click on Close.
   13. Click on the X button on the Control Panel (upper
       right corner).
   14. Click on the  <Start> button.
   15. Click on Restart the Computer and then on Yes.
   
   The system will reboot and the conflict should have been removed. 
   If necessary repeat steps 1 - 5 to verify.
