TITLE:  Ascentia P Mem Upgrade Guide Addendum
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   The Ascentia P series Memory Upgrade Option Guide (P/N: 
   003479-900A), which is included in the Memory Upgrade Kit, does 
   not list 32MB as a valid memory configuration.
   
   This issue applies to the following systems: All Ascentia P 
   series computers.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   The Ascentia P series Memory Upgrade Option Guide (P/N: 
   003479-900A) fails to mention that you can combine an 8MB and a 
   16MB memory module for a total memory configuration of 32MB.    

 
ACTION 
 
   The following memory configurations are considered valid in the 
   Ascentia P series computers:
   
   Integrated         Bank1           Bank2           Total
   
      8MB             8MB             16MB            32MB
      8MB            16MB              8MB            32MB    

 
NOTES 
 
   This omission was corrected in the new Ascentia P series Memory 
   Upgrade Option Guide (P/N: 003675-900).
