TITLE:  Advantage!/Adventure and SiS Video
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   Installation of 128MB of RAM on an Advantage! Adventure using the 
   integrated SiS 6205 video chipset, may cause the video display to 
   be abnormal. This issue occurs if the color palette is set to 
   more than 16 colors. 
   
   Other issues may include the following:
   
   1. The text in any open windows (including the Desktop) 
      may appear as an outline. 
   
   2. The system may not display shortcuts and fonts 
      properly.
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 501974, 501975, 501976, 
   503062, 503189, 503226, 503241, 503303, 503316, and 503319.

ACTION 
 
   To resolve the issue, update the SiS video drivers to version 
   1.17 or higher. Obtain these drivers from the SiS World Wide Web 
   at the following address: 
   
        http://www.sis.com.tw/html/driver.html#6205 
   
   1. Download the appropriate file(s) for your operating
      system and save them to a TEMP directory.
   
   2. Run the file(s) and follow the instructions on the 
      screen.
   
   After updating the SiS video drivers, your issue should be 
   resolved.
