TITLE:  Ascentia M, XGA LCD, Monitor Type
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   After performing a Hard Disk Restore on the XGA LCD, the 
   resolution will be 800 x 600 instead of 1024 x 768.  .
   
   This issue affects the following Ascentia M systems: 503439, 
   503433, and 503431.    

 
BACKGROUND

ACTION 
 
   Change the monitor type and Desktop area as follows:
   
   1. Right-click the desktop and select Properties.
   
   2. Click Settings|Advanced|Monitor|Change.
   
   3. Select "Show All Devices".
   
   4. Select "Super VGA 1024x768" and click the [OK] button.
   
   5. Click [OK] button, then select desired Desktop area.
   
   6. Click [OK] button and follow the instructions on the 
      screen.
